With the explosion of international retail stores and brands and an evolving domestic fashion scenario, it has become imperative to have visibility and a unique brand identity. The programme addresses this niche by enhancing the students' command in all disciplines of visual communication. It creates professionals who can provide communication solutions for fashion in the most creative and financially viable manner.
5. NIFT - Postgraduate Programme in Fashion Management:
Eligibility for NIFT PG in in Fashion Management: Graduation from a recognised University or Diploma in Accessory/Fashion Design/FIT from NIFT only
Duration: 2 years
Centres: New Delhi , Bangalore , Gandhinagar, Hyderabad & Kolkata
Seats: 150 (30 seats each at New Delhi , Bangalore , Gandhinagar, Hyderabad & Kolkata
The programme focuses on change and innovation management, IT, integrated-marketing, winning strategies, e-business, internet and other converging technologies, export supply chain management and retail technologies.
The students undertake six to eight weeks of Fashion Industry Internship Training at the end of the second semester and a two-week Craft and Industry Market Survey in the third semester. In the fourth semester, students undertake the Diploma Project wherein they work on real-life problems of companies, which sponsor these research studies.
